Thanks to all.

I'm still in the re-education clinic, getting out of bed a bit more, having daily physio and I can see an improvement. I can bend my knee slightly now without too much pain.

Using the walker I can take a few steps, 3 or 4 to get from the bed to the chair.

I think I need to strengthen my arm muscles so I can push myself up, whilst using the walker.

When I was initially told it would be a slow recovery, they were right.

That's good having lots of physio - she probably makes you do more than you'd dare do on your own !
Everything takes longer to heal with age, and on top of your chemo, you've had quite a battering.
All the best and I hope things will continue to improve for you, even if it's a slow process 🤗

MOTM2 - Best wishes from me too. I'm sure having more regular physio will speed your recovery no end. Bon courage!

With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

Best wishes from me to Motm. What is the length of your chemo regime?
I had been on similar since my op in August 2021. It was a long slog. In September 22 I was feeling much better, until I had a bad fall which set me right back. I am very happy to say that I feel as thoughI am on the mend. I find it hard to empathise with people as I believe that everybody is different and handles the trials of life in their own way. Stay strong and get well.

Join me in sending motm2 lots of love and best wishes. I'm sure she won't mind me revealing that she's suffered a temporary setback but it looks like she's on the up. You can't keep a good woman down. ⁷
