Lovely photo - lovely looking dog.
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

Congratulations ................ it must be very exciting and rejuvenating.

I'm glad you have found a fella within your skill set, it is often not easy to rehome these seriously working breeds, irrespective of their loving, caring past. I know you'll all be happy with each other and I wish you a long and enriched life together.

Well done! A striking Boy.

He looks gorgeous Blaze, isn't it strange how things just happen at the right time.

Will you be getting him snipped?

Thank you for all your kind comments !

His name is Rafal ! He's really gorgeous, wonderful hairy trousers .... just imagine the tumbleweed we'll get every day !
Yes, being without a dog is awful, the house just feels so lifeless.
He gets on with other dogs and once he's well settled in, we'll get him castrated. We've noticed an increase in the number of dogs around and sadly many are badly behaved, even aggressive which was not the case a while ago. I shall carry a big stick to defend him with.

What a lovely picture.
Looks like you'll have to get him a feline companion.

A female rather than a feline ! We hope to get an older female rescue later on .... We've always found 2 dogs much easier than one : they are company for each other and the older one seems to stay younger longer.

I thought it was a painting at first glance - lovely image.

Agree entirely. We rescue them at about 18 months (male dogs often show signs of rebellion around that age and get kicked out) and we find that the new dog learns quickly by watching what the established ones do when a command is given. Also, I don't have to run around the fields with them - our five keep themselves exercised and fit between themselves.

Have you noticed how sleep and down time is infectious between dogs (like yawning) well, it's started to spread to Mrs LG and me. :shh:

Would you mind if I sent a copy of the picture to my sister? She just loves dogs. And how would I do that? Bit of a tech virgin I'm afraid.
