There will be some settling in time for him - and us. He's been with his current owners since he was 8 weeks old so it will be hard for him. He will hear us speaking an unfamiliar language though we will continue to talk to him in French.
His owners are bringing him over tomorrow to see where he may be living and to see if he likes the place. I didn't want to take photos on the first meeting but will tomorrow !

I hope all goes well tomorrow. All this excitement, tinged with a bit of trepidation, is a bit like waiting for a baby to be born, not that I'd know anything about that but I can imagine.

What a caring and diligent couple Rafal has lived with. It's good to hear that they want to come over to 'vet' his possible new home as clearly you two have already met their needs.
It will I'm sure be very emotional for everyone and I hope all goes smoothly.

Rafal and his lovely owners have just left - they're such a delightful couple and we seem to have so much common ground despite they're being much younger than us !
Rafal seemed quite happy to rush around the garden chasing a ball or anything else that moved. He seems to like us, happy to spend time being stroked behind the ears. He's obedient too !
