I stand to be corrected, but I am not sure that is legal any more than rhubarb leaf insecticide is - as it is not "approved" for that use.

I thought that Bordeaux mix was approved for biological use and would therefor not be on the banned list.

About Japanese knotweed, to continue where I left, along a roadside, not my French garden.

Progress has been made with the high voltage equipment. After four days still 39 steps to do, they have removed about 67 steps, But there are roots left, several stems still visible. Impossible to remove without a total make over of the roadside, three meters deep. Control or remove, at what cost....
