What's for Dinner?

It's pizza night tonight.
I've never cooked a pizza from scratch so just bought a pizza stone to have a go.
Tonight it's mozzarella, chorizo & olives on home made base & piquant tomato sauce.
Mr google was a great help with technique plus ingrediants for dough & sauce &, not wishing to blow me own trumpet, it really is a great tasting, crispy base pizza.
Pity about the shape mind you

It looks good .. and I think the shape is just fine, more interesting than the usual circle.

Because tomorrow is forecast to be stormy with lots of rain and at the local chippie all the tables are outside, we're going tonight instead of the usual Friday. So Chris will be cooking for us and it's a night off for me. Tasty haddock in beer batter with wonderful chips (plus mushy peas and tartare sauce for Biggles).

Lots of restos around here but no chippie more's the pity.

Yes it is owned and staffed by an English couple and they've built up quite a clientele over the years, by no means all from the UK.
