Chancer is still about but under the pseudonym of PCPA, now living in the Bergerac area.

Wow, that’s a surprise. He seemed to be entrenched in Amiens. I would never have imagined him as someone who would have headed for the Dordogne.

He had a hotel in Meaulte opposite the airfield. He moved south to the Bergerac area and posted occasionally which then dried up.

I think Covid rather took the shine off the hotel and he saw an opportunity to do another major renovation.

Anyone remember Odette? From what I remember she was a bit of a marmite character and quite a few did not rely relate to her back in the day. That might be rather different now that many of the less permanent Francophiles have moved on.

SD left around Oct 2012 and I have some recollection of hearing of his passing a couple of years later, nothing about a MC accident though.
