@ Bayleaf, Renault Gordini of Renault Dauphine?

Edit: not Gordini or Dauphine, there used to be a special Dauphine version, Bayleaf's photo. No surprise: the Renault Dauphine "Gordini". Not for the first time: history lessons at home. My memory is okay, but I noted that there are storage limits.

A nice Mercedes 1976 Benz LF 409. Do not judge by external appearances: not the fire brigade, the food brigade.

Janis Joplin's last song recorded on tape in 1970, in 1972 Mercedes introduced the W116 series.

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.
I've worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends.
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

She also mentioned that her friends all drive Porsches. I know which one I'd rather have. A nice 944 would do nicely.

A different text this time:
My friends all drive large SUVs in the city, I must make amends.
Oh Lord, won't you buy me a small old Porsche?

Hotrodder, why not a nice 924? Also a classic car. To quote a lady from Berlin, she lives in the trendy Prenzlauerberg district:

" Mirna Funk has a pronounced aversion to new cars. "This external beeping that tells me to fasten my seatbelt and how to park," says the Berliner. "I find that so unbelievably crap!" She, on the other hand, wanted a relatively simple car with simple technology.

Mirna Funk takes her daughter to nursery every morning in her 924 S, and the boot with the glass dome is also big enough to store everything important in it.

And that's where a classic car like the Porsche 924, which is considered uncomplicated and easy to maintain, comes in handy. "I bought it because I could repair it myself." Almost everything about the car is mechanical. "It's without a computer." It doesn't even have power steering. But Mirna Funk can still park well, even without assistance systems. "

Mirna is a bright girl. I've had two 924s. Wonderful cars. Even the one that I suspect had a bent chassis. Corner like they are on rails. I used to do boot fairs in one, loads of room in the back. I only mention the 944 is because its the same concept but with more power.
