No! Not what you are thinking but a radio programme recently about 45rpm single records that made pop music affordable to all. The title made me laugh

I seem to remember singles costing around 7/-, but maybe I've made that up. I do remember thinking they weren't all that 'affordable'.

I recall them going for that price when I first arrived in England. I didn't buy any because I had brought a car cassette player with me and my experience with playing records in a car was less than satisfying.

It was an excellent programme and my ears pricked up when it was mentioned on ‘Saturday Live’ on Radio 4 this morning - great, I thought, even more people will have picked up on it!
