It'll be interesting how much of Le Penn's votes he'll take away.

No I didn't watch it, I don't want to waste what little brain space I have, and I'll have probably shouted at the tele.

Indeed - a split vote could mean neither makes it to the second round. Then who will it be?

That's the $64k question! Mélenchon, perhaps, or the LR candidate, whoever the party faithful choose.

[quote= The debate between her and Darmanin was particularly intelligent, relevant and respectful. Let's see if some of the Republican male ego can lift itself out of the misogynistic gutter and give a woman an equal opportunity at representing France.

Looks like l owe the Republican membership an apology for these remarks as they begins to vote for their new leader/Presidential candidate. If the supporters of Bertrand, Barnier and Juvin follow their lead and support Valerie Pecresse she has a great chance of running against Macron and the hard right contenders next Spring. Whether she has a chance of victory then is a different "kettle of Fish" entirely.
