Looks like epicentre was near Niort, registering a magnitude of 5.3. Down here in NE Dordogne, it shook the furniture in the lounge for a few seconds!

No need to apologise. I had heard there was a fair bit of damage and then saw the pictures on the news showing how bad it is.
