Could the commune have come back to take them ? Thinking you didn't want them ?

Sad to think someone would actually go to the trouble of loading them up and stealing them !

Methinks the commune have enough wood with the hundreds,maybe thousands of trees knocked down around here so deffo tea leaves who were very quick off the mark to nick my tree, nicely logged, against the long,not easily portable, trunks left elswhere.
Fair play though as I have a years firewood stacked under a lean to roof only 50m from the 'nicked wood' just off the road & nobody's touched that (yet)

Maybe you need to install a motion detector light on your firewood. Sounds like it must have been someone local/nearby who saw the stacked wood and couldn't resist stealing it. People ...
