Well, it is unclear whether his claims are true or not. The results of the 'investigation' appear not to have completed yet - or aren't definitively noted in the article. However, isn't this old news? I've been hearing stories (supposedly true) about this type of thing happening in France for decades now.

Real - plenty of folk have those aides. Whatever the reason for their need, the state (us) doesn't allow them to go cold and hungry and not have a roof over their heads. That sweeping statement doesn't necessarily apply to Paris, where the cost of living is so much higher.
