A long 14th. In front of the TV.
First the celebration then Le Tour and tonight the concert and firework display.
It is supposed to reach 35c here today so we are staying indoors anyhow.

Vapour trails galore across the skies this morning - almost making it hazy. 
I can't remember the last time the sky looked this busy - more people holidaying than ever. Clear skies and blue waters of Covid lockdowns seem long forgotten.
We may go and watch the local fireworks this evening, if they haven't also been cancelled - that could spark (
) more protests than ever. Otherwise, lazy day - outdoor jobs done, some good tennis on the TV later and trying to stop myself from gardening in the heat!

Yes, bonne fête to everyone.
Went into Brive to pick up an order from Maisons du Monde (sales..). Half expected the shopping center to be really crowded, nope few cars on the road. Popped into Grand Frais, almost empty.
I guess everyone was home lighting the barbecue and staying out of the sun.
34c today.
