France left out in the cold, again...Down periscopes!
Looks like the US, UK and Australia have upset the apple cart, again!
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-58604677
"France has said it is recalling its ambassadors in the US and Australia for consultations, in protest at a security deal which also includes the UK."
America are already regretting the situation - and hope to make amends quickly, but as the UK and Australia are currently living in each pockets making their own trade deals, I guess they won't be so quick.
That's now three episodes of "let's upset France" in about a week - most likely coming from the likes of Pretty Useless et co. That woman seems to have a very strange power over the whole cabul.

The fact that they haven’t withdrawn anyone from London shows how Global Britain is nothing more than a pawn in that game.

According to the Sun
This could only be done because of brexit, more jobs for the UK.
As for Macron, he is just having a hissy fit.
Talk about dumbing down the British public.

Except that "sources" (if true) claim the EU is seeking a defence and security pact with the UK and maybe it is a case of trying not to piss off Boris in advance of this.DominicBest wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 8:00 amThe fact that they haven’t withdrawn anyone from London shows how Global Britain is nothing more than a pawn in that game.

The bigger issue that is overlooked is that nuclear military technology is being given to a non-nuclear state, as I understand it contrary to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty - imagine if instead of UK and Australia it were China and say North Korea.

N, is there any difference now between the UK and North Korea.
Both countries control the media, brain wash the public and you cannot believe a word they say.
Boris said yesterday Britain produces the best food in the world.

The French sub deal with oz, made years ago has had problems from the start.
Aussie public hadn't liked it, nor do they this nuclear one, both the French ambassador and France were kept in the dark about it.

I did qualify my quotes above as generally all media conveys the message their paymasters want - which may explain lack of extensive coverage of the NPT aspects.

It is unsurprising that Australia has decided to go for nuclear powered rather than conventional submarines but an obvious blow to France. In the delay since the agreement with France, much has changed and Australia has had time to reflect on its needs and the superior technology that the US and UK can provide.

Is it really giving nuclear military technology to a non-nuclear state?
It is after all just a power plant*. There is no nuclear weaponry involved.
* A very sophisticated power plant I will grant you.
