That's good news, MOTM2. It must be very difficult for him and for you, but it's the only way that he'll heal. Just think of the fun you'll have when he's better !
By the way, I don't think the attachment is a photo of Sherlock !
Edit : It's gone from being a photo of a phone to a one of Sherlock. He's gorgeous, no wonder you want to cuddle him ! His fur will soon grow again - what a beautiful tail he has.

When I first saw the photo I thought Sherlock was coming thro. a hole in a box then I realised I had to click on the photo Lovely photo @manonthemoon2 and fingers crossed for him and hope you are feeling much better as well.

A couple of photos. I let him out of the cage for very short supervised walks. He is fed up not being able to be a normal cat. He's quite stiff walking but I feel it is important for muscle strength. He is at the vet on Friday for removal of stitches.

That's great to hear that he seems to be progressing well. It must be frustrating for you as well as him to have all the restrictions on his movement. But fingers crossed that the vet will be pleased with him and he'll soon be a 'normal cat' again !
Great to see him. He looks like he's full of beans just waiting to erupt - hopefully that will be very soon.
