@Veem Each thing in its own time ..... It will be comforting to know they are now together and that you can go and talk to them both.

I pass the grave at least 8 times every day on my way to and from the paddock. We frequently raise a glass to them and feel so grateful that they were such a big part of our lives - despite being a couple of rascals!

It's only when they're gone that you realise just what a huge place they have in our lives. No tumbleweed, no dirty paw marks, no-one to lick out the yoghurt pots, no-one waiting at the bottom of the stairs every morning (demanding breakfast) ...... As ours became deaf with age, they didn't run away when I played the accordion

We still have our naughty little mini teckel whose mission includes licking out yoghurt pots. He learnt much of his naughtiness from B&B and has it down to a fine art. He's a smoothy so doesn't shed much hair (compared to BCs and Labs). He insisted on breaking out of the house as we were on our way out with Blaze's ashes today, so we let him come, but then had to offer major bribes to get him back indoors.
