Glad you are not at the hospital at Saumur, the clinic is OK but even the locals know the main hospital as the Abattoir. The trouble is that due to our location any ambulance called has to take us to the nearest hospital which is Saumur, which is a right dive, even our doctor tells us not to go there. I try and use the Clinic St Joseph at Trelaze, much better service.

I remember when they built it ! Fabulous views over the vines and A&E were excellent when OH had a couple of accidents. But we moved away 9 years ago so perhaps things have changed.
If you think it's a dive, you should have seen the old one near Rue Fardeau ..... ! You expected to see Florence Nightingale round the corner. No complaints about the treatment though, always excellent.
