Registering with a different doctor

#11 Post by manonthemoon2 »

I'm pleased to say the new Dr was lovely, she saw my urine test from the lab and then asked what treatment had I been given, I simply replied nothing. She raised her eyebrows and gave a prescription for some antibiotics.

She has taken us on thankfully. I feel like making a complaint about the other Dr who apparently everyone complains about, according to my chiropodist who is opposite the Dr.

I won't make a complaint, it's not worth it, I'm just glad I've got a new Dr.

After the antibiotics with the same complaint as you have, I found that I needed to reinstate my gut flora as this was destroyed by the antibiotics. Not a comfortable time all in all. Finding a good probiotic yogurt was easy, although they were not all effective for me.
Edit..
Quite coincidentally, I saw this article a moment ago, It is a bit biological, but the statement at the end does show the importance of the right food.

Great news MOTM2. Very happy for you.

And, as Polarengineer says, stock up on probiotic and prebiotic foods to boost your gut health.
