Applied in October - 24 hours after the application site was announced. Received the standard confirmation and registration number. Not a dickie bird until mid May - with a summons to attend at the end of the month with 2 invitations both for the same registration number and nothing for the other. No option to reply, change the date, contact them if not convenient - as it happens it wasn't a problem, we both went and were both processed and the process was straightforward.

So I would not panic yet.

The process is random. I got my card within a month posted, without signature. My OH’s card never got posted, just a letter after 2 months instructing personal pick up at the prefecture, no explanation.

Got our cards yesterday but we had to go back to the Préfecture to receive them. In return they wanted, the temporary card they issues with the photo stapled onto it (they called it a receipt), the old titre de séjour issued to us as EU citizens and proof of ID.

They didn't check the ID - suppose it's not so easy if you have a mask on - but they did check that the finger prints of our index fingers agreed with those already taken. So, now there is just my driving license and her new carte vitale to worry about.
