Applying for Residency in France

#1 Post by Char »

British nationals residing in France or moving to France before 31 December 2020 were required to apply for a residence permit online on this site before 1 July 2021.

However, those who were unable to apply for a residence permit within the deadline will still be able to do so until 30 September 2021, as the official website will remain open until that date.

Please note this does not apply to people who have moved to France since 1st January 2021.

We got our appointment on the 20th of July she got her's today, mine is not here yet probably checking the finger prints
Just came by normal post, nothing to sign I thought others have said it came recorded delivery.
They did say it could take up to a month and half to arrive.
That was quick.

 They told us it would take between two to three weeks and it was here exactly two weeks later - we both had to sign for it though.

WE were told 2-3 weeks and it took 6weeks. The postie insisted that we sign individually but a week before he was being trained in our round, so he is probably still doing everything by the book.

We were told at our interview a year or so ago that it would be in the New Year ('21) but in fact both arrived separately within a couple of weeks. Can't remember signing but if we did it would have been only me as the postman knows that Fran couldn't make it all the way to the gate.

My card arrived today and had to sign for it.
The letter was the same as wot she got so the postman was wrong with just putting her one in the letterbox.
