A Sunday morning in London

#1 Post by RobertArthur »

In a museum in the city of Erfurt (in the 'Kunsthalle') in September last year a photo. A lazy Sunday morning in 2000 of a British writer. Lazy? It looks like he is writing. Also a timeline of portraits of Angela Merkel, starting with this one.

About this photo exhibition: ‘Mein Blick’ (My View) is the title of Herlinde Koelbl's (she is now 85 years old/young) “Best of” and combines photographs from 1980 - when Koelbl discovered photography late and as a self-taught photographer and photographed children - with all her projects that she realised as freelance work until 2024. She had ‘fine people’ in front of her camera, looking first into German living rooms and then into bedrooms all over the world. One of her favourite pictures is this one of John Cage.

Leica Hall of Fame Award 2024.
