South-West of France again I may presume. Not the Garonne river, but a bridge across one of its tributaries. My workout to prepare my canoe trip will take several days, taking note of the condition my condition is in.

A trip with the help of Tripadvisor, visiting many old bridges in Aquitaine and finally I managed to set foot ashore from a wobbling canoe in Nérac, Lot-et-Garonne. An old bridge, le Pont-vIeux de Nérac.

@ Mangetout, I have a lot of pictures, the analogue Dordogne memories however are in a shoebox, which reminds of something on my to-do list: to scan all these photos.

@ OBR, about 100% correct. A hill with a view from a garden, looking up to the other side and you'll see the Basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine. Nice little town, old architecture, shops, restaurants and sometimes a look at fine houses with two cats in the yard or a child's bicycle. And always an opportunity to admire ongoing renovation works. Every year a rich cultural agenda. History everywhere, back to the early Middle-Ages, 1146: Saint-Bernard prêchant la 2e croisade.
Your turn.
