If this is attitude more people are adopting, then it's hardly surprising:
A niece (finally) managed to have her wedding to her Scottish man, on Wednesday. Possibly about 30/40 people present in a Castle in Scotland. My sister sent me some photos yesterday, including one of a test result - I've never seen one before, so asked what it meant, although I'd sort of guessed by the accompanying "Oh FFS" message. Yes, her other daughter had just tested positive for Covid, two days after said Wedding. Apparently she had been sitting next to some guy at the wedding meal "with a streaming cold". "Oh crikes", says I. "Will everyone have to be tested and contacted/isolate etc?" Her reply "Tbh I think everyone is past caring! Most people are double jabbed and boostered." Then, later on she msged "Just off to a Panto in Bath, catch you later"!!!! My sister and niece have been vaccinating with homeopathic pills - so let's see how that pans out. My gob is totally smacked at this behaviour, but if this is the norm now (not helped by the clown's examples), what the heck???

Maybe in the drive to get everyone vaccinated the jab has been touted as a panacea for all ills and thus those who have been vaccinated feel invincible. A communications failure.
No 1 daughter has a whole new attitude this year - but the other way - last year she was blasée but this year she has gone hermit and taken multiple lateral flow tests - and will do another before returning home for Christmas. Omicron seems to have spooked her generation in London at least.

Some will never accept the fact that this is a real epidemic, not some conspiracy to reduce the world population. The wearers and non wearers on the UK news is beyond belief, until they make it compulsory to wear at all times when out and about, it will not stop. Obviously the mask is not anywhere near 100%, but it helps, we never go out without one on. Hope you can understand and I have not put a comma in the wrong place

Yes the news video of the Liberal win in N Shropshire had loads of supporters huddled behind the speaker and none of them masked. An interesting statistic this am 34% of the population of London is unvaccinated. Many of these will be the same people who complain about lockdowns. It is time that more stringent measures be adopted.hughnique wrote: ↑Sat Dec 18, 2021 9:37 am Some will never accept the fact that this is a real epidemic, not some conspiracy to reduce the world population. I think first that the measures that have been adopted should be enforced. Some on-the-spot fines would be a good start perhaps?

Lock them all in the same room for a few hours, should do the trick.
Maybe if ALL MPs declared their vaccination status. At least one refused to do so a while ago.
