@ Mysty, probably they would have declared this Traction Avant as a voiture non grata at the Citroën meet there in Saint-Amand. Reason: not one of the official colours. All black? Ask Mick Jagger to paint it white:

I can imagine the reaction, the same as I got from the admiring secretary of the Classic American Auto club when I turned up for their rally with my impeccable '38/'39 Packard 8.
Admiring that is until I opened the bonnet to reveal a Perkins P6 diesel engine. He practically had a seizure when I told him that I was not looking for a replacement. I was not invited to join the club.
Oh no. Not a Borgward Isabella! That's another European tin box a friend of mine had in the mid 60's. It was the most "uncool" set of wheels in the state. Nobody wanted to ride in it. I think his father was trying to put him off car ownership by telling him its that or nothing. He did eventually manage to write it off and the replacement?........................ an NSU Prinz.

I don't doubt that for a minute. A nicely restored or unmolested original would be a real treat next to the modern clones we see around us today. Modern designs (apart from the very expensive top end) look like they were designed by a committee of 10 or more who never had any contact with each other apart from a few shared comic books and parameters handed down from the bean counters.
