Put your heating on yet?

Ha ha - One bonus of the clocks going back last night is that hubby forgot to change the clock and lit the fire for the c/heating at 4.00pm instead of 5.00pm - so I'm lovely and warm now.

No need for heating, had the door open all day till it started to rain at 5, now its still over 20c in here, just going to eat and its 18c in the K/Dining room.

Having recently swept the flue & put new seals on the door I lit our lounge woodie this afternoon for a trial run before it's needed in anger. The cat thought it was it's birthday & 'assumed the position' on the mantlepiece.
Too hot in the lounge so we're in the kitchen/day room which is 18 deg without heating according to the weather station base on the window cill.

We lit our insert last night for a few hours as I felt chilly .. tonight we lit it again about 20 mins ago. Now I'm beautifully warm.
For the last few weeks I haven't been too well and I think that makes you feel chilly even tho the temps aren't really cold.
The inside/outside thermometer says it is 13.1° outside.
