Prince Harry's UK visit
I have no interest in H&M but it's impossible to escape the newspaper blurb. It seems a lot of what is written comes from the book Harry wrote himself 'Spare' written for profit and to get some things off of his chest.
With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way into darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine.........The Corpse Bride

I agree that he's vulnerable and didn't get the counselling he should have done (remember the funeral, he looked as though he'd been forced to be there). However, I know zilch about Meghan - except that her mother was left alone at the wedding and somebody in the poison clan worried that any children might be black.Pathca wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2026 8:14 am
I agree Mad he seemed to think he would set up a second court it California, no doubt these ideas were encouraged by Meghan. Don’t get me wrong wrong I don’t dislike him I feel sorry for him. He was vulnerable and gullible and encountered someone very manipulative
I'm obviously not a roytalist and definnitely a republican due to my nationality, but I can't bear the "stiff upper lip", "over the top" "they're not like us" mentality that still prevails among the "upper class".

If they ever get divorced it'll take a surgeon to separate them.
Don't think I've ever seen a picture of them when they're not holding hands or she's not clinging to him like a personal possession.

I agree entirely.demi wrote: ↑Sun Jun 28, 2026 10:26 pm I am by no means a royalist but I think all these opinions about them are only garnered from the press (much of which is gutter press).
I don't know any of the royals personally, nor do I know anyone who does, and I suspect everyone else here is in the same position.
I really dislike the judging of people on the basis of third or even fourth hand information - much of which is written for profit.
Several of the points raised here are surely just extension of gutter press nonsense. for example, I don't think you'd find any quote from the royal family about being "worried' over any chiders colour. It was generally accepted that someone had speculated about what colour they would be, but "worry about blackness"??
As a wise pal of mine used to say - Name your sources!

I do and I don't read the gutter press/tabloids (unless you consider the BBC, New York Times, the Economist, Financial Times etc etc to be as such ?)
Anyone in the public eye is bound to attract comment - and we're all entitled to an opinion. I don't hear anyone on this forum coming out in defence of Trump when critical remarks are made about him, nor cracks about the gutter press. These people open their mouths and can be seen and heard on video. It's as near as you'll get to first hand information. That said, beware of AI !
Inverted snobbery is just as bad !!

Everyone IS entitled to an opinion Blaze, but it was the STATEMENTS I was referring to.
BTW, Trump is defended heavily, by his own press team and rightwing US congressmen, senators and press. We don't see so much of it in our news outlets. You could google it - although "Trump criticised" brings up many more hits
For the record, I'm far from a Trump supporter.

I don't think anyone on this forum would defend the orange turd - we've all got brain cells!
