The reduced size looks fine for me @1440p - it does not need to cover the width of the screen I think.

AS I posted Char - no great shakes for me. I have navigation buttons and can quickly get to the meat. Don't spoil the layout for a very minor point.

@ Niemeyjt, from the laboratory, scrolling is not the same everywhere: it's probably also operating system, video driver and browser dependent. On my Windows 7 laptop, Chrome, screen resolution 1366 x 768 the footprint of the header is indeed substantial, about 66 % of the page. On my Android 11 smartphone, Chrome, the header is relatively much smaller, about 20%. In the middle of these two the iPad of the OH, iOS 10.3, Safari, with still a substantial footprint of 57%.

It should be smaller for mobiles - 'tis still a work in progress at the moment, I've been playing with it and hopefully we can have a full width that isn't so deep.

Of course I can just crank up a monitor resolution to 4K - or set some zoom out - so it is not a big issue - just a "nice to have".

The new size is great anyway.

Works well - both in 1440p and 4K.

Am I allowed to say I think a sans-serif font would look better - or would that be too picky?
