I belong to a US based guitar forum where amongst 'proper' guitar stuff they have an 'anything goes' forum where it's interesting to read the political stuff .
Today, in a thread entitled "politics-anyone" I explained my lack of political knowledge & tried to convey the general opinions 'foreigners' glean from newspapers & TV reports & how this applied to their probable two candidates in the next presidential election namely Biden & Trump by saying " It's always a surprise to read that such a great country as the US with it's huge population only has the choice between an old alleged thief, lier & insurrectionist or a feeble old man." & "from what I read the free world is shitting itself at the thought of another 4 years of Trump"
I expected some comments but within half an hour got a truly vitriolic reply from what I can only assume was a card carrying Trump supporter.
Bet he was wearing his MAGA hat whilst posting. :D

Yeah, they are vicious ! And carry weapons that they are not afraid to use when their feelings are hurt.

I belong to an American car forum and have experienced some very odd points of view over the years. Politics, religion and guns feature strongly in many of their profiles.

The latest gem from the yank I upset is :
"I will admit to enjoying watching all of your heads explode every time Orangey makes another dumbass comment. And I do hope he wins the election because personally I would love to watch the world's "Enlightened progressives" shit bricks for another 4 years." :roll:
