@ Niemeyjt, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you. I didn't like the first two versions of Windows at all. I gave it a first try with the 3.x release. And started to appreciate the very stable 3.11 network version. The set-up diskettes for Windows 95, thirteen of them (nomen est omen), DMF formatted, I binned them. Now going for about 40 dollars on EBAY. When installing this operating system it was always, set-up almost finished, that there were readout errors on disk # 11 or # 12. Start all over again after repairing them with MS-DOS tools. See below, Mace Utilities, Norton Utilities, PC-Tools and many others. Lean and mean programming in those days by guys who knew as much about hardware as software. Building narrow but very effective bridges to connect both worlds. Single purpose tools, for every repair job a different hammer or screwdriver.
