I was just reading that she’s died, just a year after Timothy West. There’s an episode of ‘Fawlty Towers’ on BBC1 tonight at 8pm - we’re definitely planning watching.

She was a terrific actress and he was a wonderful actor.

Their ‘Great Canal Journeys’ shown on tv made great viewing, and his care of her was so touching.

I knew she wouldn’t last long after Tim😥 I loved their canal journeys but the one where they realised it was probably the last was very emotional

I’ve been enjoying an old Great Canal Journeys on tv this evening, a fascinating journey on part of the Gota canal, shown as a tribute to Prunella Scales. It was so touching how Timothy West cared for Prunella West, as her dementia grew. I knew that Prunella could speak several languages but was very impressed how extremely well she spoke it.
