I find some of that country's actions increasingly frightening. It's as if the world was a board game and That Man will stop at nothing to get what he wants, such as oil and minerals, even other countries. It's like a James Bond film only it's very real. The FBI has disallowed any involvement in the investigation by local authorities, against the wishes of the mayor and the state governor. As expected, Trump's puppet agency has declared the killing was lawful.

Once again, the vested interests of the dictator over rule any oversight or legal procedures.

JD Vance goes scorched earth on the innocent ICE shooting victim, smears her, and says that the killer deserves our “gratitude.”
If hell exists, Vice President JD Vance just secured his place. In a grotesque display of cruelty masquerading as “law and order,” Vance has decided that the best way to defend an ICE agent who killed an unarmed mother is to demonize the woman he put in the grave.
Renee Nicole Good was 37 years old. A U.S. citizen. A mom. She was shot three times by a federal agent in Minneapolis as she tried to drive away from masked officers during a protest. Video footage sparked outrage nationwide — not because Americans are “radical,” but because they have eyes.
JD Vance’s response? Call her a “deranged leftist.” Given that Good’s ex-husband has verified that she was a devoted Christian — NOT an activist — and had never taken part in any protests, Vance’s comments were simply cruel lies aimed at defending the indefensible.
Rather than show even a shred of empathy, the vice president went on a troll spree, sneering that critics were “gaslighting” the public and insisting it was “preposterous” to blame the officer who pulled the trigger. According to Vance, the tragedy doesn’t rest with the man who fired the gun — it rests with the woman who died and with the “radicals” who supposedly corrupted her.
Among the pernicious lies Vance spread were these gems: “You have a woman who aimed her car at a law enforcement officer and pressed on the accelerator. Nobody debates that. I believe it was a tragedy—a tragedy of her own making.”
And this one: “She is a victim of left-wing ideology. What young mother shows up and decides they are going to throw their car in front of I.C.E. Officers enforcing legitimate law? You have to be brainwashed to get to that point,” the Vice President propagandized.
That’s not leadership. That’s character assassination.
Even conservative civil rights attorney Jenin Younes — no progressive firebrand — reviewed the footage and concluded the officers instigated the confrontation, lacked authority over Good, and had time to move out of the way. Vance dismissed her analysis outright, preferring instead to paint Good as a violent extremist who deserved her fate.
Then came the truly chilling part.
Vance suggested the ICE agent enjoys “absolute immunity” — the same sweeping protection Donald Trump claims for himself — effectively arguing that federal officers should be untouchable, no matter the facts. Accountability, apparently, is for civilians only.
When pressed by reporters, Vance didn’t cool down — he exploded. He shouted down the media, accused journalists of endangering law enforcement, and scolded Americans for believing their own eyes. He even suggested the officer was justified because he might be “sensitive” after a past incident — as if trauma grants a license to kill.
“He deserves a debt of gratitude,” Vance said of the shooter, “and I think the media prejudging and talking about this guy as if he is a murderer is one of the most disgraceful things I have seen from the American media.”
This wasn’t just a defense of ICE. It was a warning.
JD Vance is telling America that if you question state violence, you’re a radical. If you die at the hands of federal agents, your character will be smeared to protect power. And if local officials dare investigate, they might be branded terrorists next.
Renee Good deserved dignity. Her family deserved truth.
