There was someone on FE years ago with that nameBayleaf wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 6:43 pm Hi everyone. A little late to the party (that's me all over!). Another straggler from the Way Down in France forum jumping in to join you all finally
Been in France for nearly 18 years and it's been a long, hard slog - but so worth it. Just today, while driving back from a rare visit to Périgueux for some DIY stuff, noticed EU flags flying in the villages that we passed. I have to admit to smiling at them as we drove past, and being thankful that I live here, warts and all! Hope it stays that way .....

Not strangers, because we have been meeting 'on the other side' from time to time, and recently, nevertheless a welcome from me too.

I think there's only been one (and only) Bayleaf. I recognise your name too, from the dim and murky past - might be a slight spelling change. Could even have been on TF. If I remember rightly, we may have been regulars in the naughty corner!
Anyhoo, thanks for the welcomes. Good to be back in the fold!

I think your mixing me up with someone with a similar name, they could not spell or use commas and dots in the right place.Bayleaf wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 1:24 pmI think there's only been one (and only) Bayleaf. Talking of which, what happened to "mysty1 the new up to date user-friendly version for an enhanced user experience" that we read so much about but never saw?

A bit like smartphones the software is out of date very quickly and changes or upgrades are needed.
Today's model is better than one of the early one.
