National Sickie Day today
How is everyone feeling today?
Known as National Sickie Day in the U.K., the first Monday of every February is statistically the day when most workers are likely to call in sick, according to research first conducted by British law firm ELAS in 2011.

Fine thanks
I can't see that ever being the case in France. Only one day in the year over all the others (excluding weekends, holidays, jours fériés etcetera) ?? Any potential ’pont’ day here would qualify

Actually managed a work day today - weather still thick fog and grim, but needs must! Step-dad's new carer 'phoned in sick over the weekend, but that could just be because the wife is a right royal PITA!

We are very sick, with fog, fog, mist, mist and the bloody cold.
Don't mind frosty cold weather but this damp stuff gets into the bones.
Was hoping to take my lovely wife out for a drive round tomorrow for her birthday, just to get off site a little but with more fog 4cast what's the use. Afternoon will be cooking a birthday meal, her favorite, rabbit sealed in butter then slowly (3 hours) on top in white wine.
With a starter of prawn and salmon salad
