More money than sense. There is an off button that would cost nothing.
On my headstone it will say: Please switch off mobile phones. I'm trying to get some sleep.

I saw the gynaecologist on Monday and she told me that she's had people in her consulting room taking phone calls during a consultation. When I commented that I would boot them out and call in the next patient, she said she wouldn't be allowed to do it. My GP said she would do exactly that and that the gynae was too soft.
Someone has clearly found a clever money spinner which plays on people's inability to use the off button

That would be something wouldn't it, when the caller says "What ya doin'?", "Oh, just having my foofoo serviced!"
(I may be on the wrong forum for this sort of comment....!

@Bayleaf
The club RA mentions has to be for serious addicts, though many people don't realise (or accept) how addicted they've become. It's easy to cut yourself off from the phone and social media if you really want to but the fear of missing out instinct is too strong for many people to resist. It's become an indispensable tool.

Absolutely! I imagine in time, the human hand of those addicted will evolve to be the exact shape of a mobile! Some say the bone of the texting thumb (how do they do that so darned fast?!
), has already altered in the worst case scenarios...!

I don't know how people do that either but then I'm a touch typist so I probably see keyboards slightly differently. I sometimes use one of those little rubber things to avoid overlapping two letters and writing in Polish !!! I am quite fast but the speed of youngsters with their nimble fingers leaves me gawping
