She didn't say where she would find the money... Will it be more national debt or more taxes for the taxpayers (who already pay a lot in France) ?
And, if she does that, everybody else will want the same !!! As her former husband (F. Hollande) said one day: " no worry, it's the government which pays !"
I don't think her former husband was Francois Hollande. His wife for many years was Segolene Royal, is that who you are thinking of?

Officially, you're right and I shouldn't have used the word "husband"... But apparently AH and FH had an affair in 2004, which jammed for ever her good relation with Sego. She tried hard since to stop this rumor but she can't wipe everything off on the web.

More 'fake news' then, as is the existence of their hidden "love child" which circulated on some social media during her reelection for Paris Maire. Smear campaigns are now, unfortunately, part and parcel of politics everywhere spread by manipulative bad actors to sway simple minded electorate, IMO.

And he is not the only one ! I've lost count of the affairs of our Presidents since about 1974... C'est la vie ! Some official wives were very tolerant, some were less :D Sarko and Hollande haven't been lucky on this point :?

I think like Boris Bunter, Flamby has billions of children, including with l'espagnole.

Whatever, it'll be a miracle if the Parisian team comes up with a cunning plan that 51% of the population can swallow.

I take it you mean that she was big and gentle with a beautiful smile.
If she was not, but in fact the opposite, Rottweiler is definitely not the word that would spring to my mind. ;) :)

I am amazed though with this fixation with Presidential mistresses, this is France after all, isn't it what they/we do best? :o

This is why God, in his infinite wisdom, has endowed men with 2 b** s (not just one). Like that, the presidents have one for the ladies and the other to defend the country. Unfortunately, our recent presidents have forgotten the use of the second ...

Sadly it ends up with one for the wife and one for the mistress.

And it is not a uniquely French problem. Anyone remember John Major?

I don't know whether anyone else watched the interview of Zemmour last night. I watched out of interest, not because he might get a vote from this household.
Think Le Pen on steroids but with the bonus of misogyny.
Not very bright either, as he thinks that his life as a journalist can be distanced from his life as a candidate.
