L'abbaye de Pontigny est un ancien monastère de l'ordre cistercien. Fondée en 1114, au nord de la Bourgogne et à la limite du comté de Champagne, aujourd'hui dans la commune de Pontigny, dans le département de l'Yonne, elle est la deuxième des quatre premières filles de Cîteaux.

I had guessed the general area due to the architecture and the materials but I'm not familiar with it.

A couple of clues as this one is proving difficult - It is in Lot et Garonne and in a village touristique? situated between Marmande et Tonneins
