@Pathca ↑ I think my fear stems from a cousin who was 25 years older than me! He had a minor bird that he let out of it's cage when we visited - I was around 8 or 9. It would fly around the room then land on my head and I sat there mortified not daring to move then it would say 'yoohoo typhoo I'll have a cup of tea now' and of course all the adults found it very amusing!

This little chap sang for about an hour this morning, it was beautiful. (photos taken through a rather grubby window ...)

Not really found in the garden (well not by us). This chap turned up in the kitchen. I assume brought in by one of the felines. Having established no obvious injury he was released and flew off post haste.

We think this wren is nesting in one of our sheds .... she was shouting her head off even though I was standing quite a way away, hence the rather fuzzy shot !! When she sings, it's a joy to hear but this morning she was definitely rather cross
