Franglais in Business Schools is causing concern

Yet again the question of English words and phrases is causing sweat and tears amongst the snotty elite, this time in French Business Schools. Given that the disciplines are largely American and British, surely the French should start their own, very French Business philosophies.
I wonder what the French is for backhander and retrocommission, at present le backhander and les retrocommissions? ( backhander, by the way does not refer to tennis, a slap around the chops or some quite disgusting sexual practice!)

I see they're also getting a tad hot under the collar about gaming terms. It's a subject that comes up every now and then - remember when radio stations had to play a certain % of French songs? So they played them at night.
The problem with all these nonsenses is that French is often the more cumbersome language in international sectors, not English. I admit that they go overboard with business English now and then - why have un meeting when you can have une réunion?

We sat outside a bar a couple of days ago and the amount of French local business vans advertising their business using several 'english' words in the mix amazed us. We do have a lot of Brits/Americans/Canadians around here permanent & tourists so it can only be good for the French business' especially as a lot of 'Brits' working on the black seem to have disappeared recently - I wonder why

It's ridiculous because languages have always evolved with travel, business, leisure and so on. The Dutch have an organisation that updates their language from time to time, and it's a lot less pretentious than the Académie française. The Germans dropped their Gothic script and I believe they don't use the " ß " so much today, replacing it with "ss".
Who came up with the expression "So British" ???
From a BBC article about anglicismes in gaming "..... as news site Thelocal.fr noted, a previous effort to replace "le wifi" with "l'access sans fil à internet", did not take off"

More here than in Germany, I think.

French here also gets the treatment - our numbers make more sense!
