I have regular appointments for mammogram/échographie at the request of my oncologist.
It isn’t possible to book them online believe me I’ve tried!
I rang the Clinique I usually use.
Nothing available till March 23!

@Headers You can't book mammograms/echographie on line here either, it has to be done directly with the cabinet. I have one every year and book 4 or 5 months ahead providing their listing is open.
As for the gynaecologist - I book my next appointment on the way out from the previous one. It's a lot easier face to face than trying to ring.

I’ve now talked to my oncologist secretary and have an appointment for 28/3/23.

The average wait for mammograms seems to be around 4-6 months here in Morbihan, depending which Cabinet you go to.
My rdv is for mid December and I booked it in August.

I've only had to have one done since moving to the Vaucluse. But, when I made the appointment, the delay was only about two weeks. Guess I was lucky.

No idea what I will find in the new house location. Already trying to look up médicin traitants, dentists, etc.

I'm glad you were able to get something on the calendar Headers. Do they have a cancellation list in the event you might get in sooner?

I was surprised because this time last year there was hardly any time delay.
I don’t think there’s a cancellation list. My appt is right at the end of March. When I see my onco 1/2/23 I’ll pop into the centre which is next door and see if they’ve got any earlier appts.

We've noticed a big difference in delays over the last 5 years and we've found Rennes offers not only far more choice, but much shorter waits. Hardly surprising given the university and number of hospitals, private clinics etc. It just means we have to drive further - or catch a train !

agreed - a long wait for a checkup. But if she has an appointment with an oncologist they usually find my wife a slot

Talked to my MT yesterday about the immense delay. He wasn’t impressed and suggested I try Marmande. I now have an appointment for both at the end of Jan before I see my Oncologist.
Fingers crossed.
