Happy anniversary

#1 Post by L Austin France »

Two years ago today we visited our local SPA to make a donation & had a look at the dogs available for adoption. We had no real intention of getting another dog after the demise of our last rescue who had been a companion for 14 years but there something about this sad elderly mutt who had recently been brought in that kept drawing us back to him.
Bob came home with us that very day & has been nothing but a joy ever since.

Aw that's a lovely gesture, LAF, older dogs are so much harder to find homes for. We'll probably do exactly the same in the New Year - the house seems so lifeless without dogs .... an older one and a younger one ....

I love the oldies, we have a 'chubby' 12 year old golden retriever with us and our two mutts over Christmas.
She is a happy old girl, can't walk too far but does what she can, then she goes back in the van whilst ours do a longer circuit
How do people live without at least one dog in the house?
