He was done for violent racist attacks ... so they're looking at this as a motive.

What a bl**dy awful Xmas present for France and the families. What harm have the Kurds ever done to anyone? The are kicked from pillar to post when all they want is a proper homeland.

I agree that it is dreadful but I am unsure about the Christmas reference given that most are Muslim - mainly Sunni but some Shia - with a sprinkling of other beliefs such as Zoroastrian, Alevism, even Jewish and just a few Christians.
