Re: Hello and Welcome
Hi
we have been members of 2 other forums in the past and found the ads and info on them very useful at times. Although we rarely contributed, it was comforting to know that help was just a message away. We have been in France for 18 years and loved every minute, even all the hard work renovating. Reading some of the welcomes here, I'm sure we will be happy to contribute.

Hi sparkyjo welcome to the forum - most of us are refugees from other forums that have closed down, FE, TNFF, TFF, TF etc etc.
Feel free to jump in when ever you like, we're a friendly bunch of people on here.

Re: Hello and Welcome
Hi everyone. A little late to the party (that's me all over!). Another straggler from the Way Down in France forum jumping in to join you all finally
Been in France for nearly 18 years and it's been a long, hard slog - but so worth it. Just today, while driving back from a rare visit to Périgueux for some DIY stuff, noticed EU flags flying in the villages that we passed. I have to admit to smiling at them as we drove past, and being thankful that I live here, warts and all! Hope it stays that way .....
