My heart history, I have just realized, probably started in the 90s while under extreem stress. I was working later in Munich and looking to take a contract in Venuzuela, so as I was getting fat and breathless on wonderful Paulana beer, I had a medical examination in a Munich clinic to ensure I was fit enough for the work. That was when it was discovered that I had arythmia. Returning to Holland, I had the first reboot, in and out in two hours. That did not work, so they tried again with a few more joules of energy. Also a no-go. I gave up that lark and moved to France. My first visit to a doctor here is where I disclosed my ailments and he sent me to a French hospital for another reboot. This time, the French kept me in overnight after the reboot (probably a CPAM scam so take your jammies in case). That did not work either and so I live with it. Thinking back, I have probably had it for more than 25 years. The only thing I hate about it is when I lay my head on the pillow and hear, via tinitus how irregular my heartbeat is. I ignore it and get on with my work renovating/restoring/decorating/ repairing. I still chuck 35kg bags of cement and plaster around, but seem to be slowing a bit now at 77. I recommend not retiring, not jogging, not sitting on yer bum, (how's that for being negative). Keep active, get a horse or donkey to look after.

Mine's irregular, has been for years, but only when resting. Whenever I do anything strenuous it reverts to a normal rhythm.

well that wasn't bad, didn't even know I was going to sleep, next thing back in recovery room. After a while wheeled back to room, got in to bed, and wired up, after about half an hour I glanced at the chair and thought I don't remember coming in here in that bra and nickers, they had stuck me back in the wrong bed, perhaps I should have waited and seen what turned up. Discharge doctor was a pig, spoke perfect English but wouldn't, what happened to the hypocratic oath, you know help people when they are struggling, hope I don't get him again, anyway supposed to be functioning as should be now. Other thing that struck me was I booked the ambulance there and back but on both occasions, there were two patients in the car, didn't like that much Covid and all that.

I occasionally shared an ambulance taxi but was always asked if I minded, which of course I didn't. Round here, all ambulance taxi drivers wear masks in their vehicles, even if driving without a passenger. Naturally passengers are expected to wear them as well ....
If you don't want to share, you could have a longer wait ....

No so I suppose it's their choice whether they double up.

That’s the thing,you are unlikely to be on your own if the stat provides it. Were you wearing masks? Also if they were at the hospital they are likely to have been swabbed

Yes all wearing masks but that isn't 100% although it helps a great deal, when you say swabbing is that the back of the throat up the nose test as there was no sign of anything like that anywhere. There is this complacent view by a lot that this Covid has gone away.
