Mask wearing

I think the is a general acceptance that you can't contract Covid when you are on holiday. In my town(56) nearly everyone wears a mask. I went to a tourist sport Port Louis and there were were very few wearing them (despite it being a local rule)

Yes - like in UK where it is well known that Politicians and EUFA Guests, amongst others, cannot spread it either.

But back in the real world Israel - pioneer of vaccination - is now amongst the worst affected countries now. And the mu variant of concern is on the horizon as less controlled by vaccination. This show is going to run and run.

Agree, same as with flue, measles, aids, etc it will be with us for ever.
Sounding a pessimist but think wev'e Fd up the planet and will pay for it.

Same here. As far as I know, there's no requirement here to wear a mask, except in shops/enclosed spaces. We're a village of 2,500 and most locals wear masks everywhere. Tourists (300,000 in a normal year) are not wearing them, and chucking used masks on the pavement
