Blimey, that was low.

About an hour ago 2 - 4 engined turbo prop 'planes flew over our house heading NNW.
I was indoors & heard the first but didn't get much of a glimpse of it as I was too busy ducking, thinking it was going to hit the roof, it really seemed that low.
I ran outside just in time to see the second fly over & from what I saw it was a
T tailed transporter which my memory & Google says was an Airbus A400M Atlas .
Fabulous to watch & what a noise :D

Yes, they flew over us as well but couldn't get a look at them because of our personal perpetual cloud cover. I know their sound though.

I know the sound, we hear it occasionally here - and yes, we duck as well. I've not yet been quick enough with the camera to snap it .... maybe next time....

I had to duck earlier, but our scary noise came from a Tiltrotor. I’ve never heard of them, but take it from me, they are exceptionally noisy. Mr Grangela alias Jongela had seen photos of them, but never a live one. As the name implies they have tilting rotors, so can take off like a helicopter and then power forward. Enough excitement for one day.

Probably an Osprey.
Very difficult & dangerous things to fly with lots of crashes.
If you hear one coming, take cover

Much like the pigeons around here. Once they are up and flying they are very efficient but when they try to land in a tree they sound like a car crash. Seriously clumsy.
