Found in the garden

Its been a long time since I created on an old long gone great French forum "Found in the garden" but still alive 20 plus years and 4 house moves later in France

Steve - I've always had a soft spot for "Found in the Garden" which I remember from TF which is why I thought it would be nice to re-create it here !

As for the picture its my loving wife's finger and the Red Billed Leiothrix had knocked itself out on the kitchen window

A constant worry here where the birds can see right through to the light at the other side of the house. I have deliberately kept the windows murky to save a few lives but realised that I was missing a great deal from my chair of the activity at the pond and on the bird bar, so I cleaned the bottom half the other day.

What a revelation, a clear as crystal view, and no fatalities so far.

Really nice picture Steve, is that your finger and if so, how did you get it's confidence, and how did you take the photo?
When was the last time, Total France or its successor?

It was I Think Total France with Chris Luck and later Char over a few years we knocked up with others contributions over 2,000 posts

Lovely piccie - I've missed seeing your pictures.

Do you know that you are responsible for my obsession with photography, I only started taking photos because of your thread on TF.
It's been a long incredible journey for me since using my fuji film camera with a magnifying glass to capture insects big enough to be seen. I have even made my own macro lens along the way.
So thank you for giving me a very interesting hobby.
