Trying to work out how to multiply them, rather than kill them! Spiders are welcome in this house, and their web homes - they can catch all the tiny things we don't like!

Meanwhile, wind is now coming directly from the West, and we're due storms again to keep the rain company. I get a minute or so of sunshine outdoors, before timing it so that I'm undercover when the skies open!

Oh no, I have 4 dead spiddies at the bottom of the screen now! :(

Missed the spiders having gone round collecting the nailed down bits that weren't as nailed down as I thought. It was only supposed to be 55kph here but I strongly suspect that was a bit below the actual speed. One stone outhouse/small barn in the village has lost its roof overnight.

As an addendum: Found the lid from one of the water butts. The concrete lump that was on top to nail it down was now at the bottom of the water butt and had hit the base so hard it had punched a hole through it and also punched a hole through the tile which was the support underneath.

Oh well, if that's the worst, we did not come off badly compared with some.
