Yesterday we were put on the first water restrictions of the year. No filling of pools, washing of cars, watering of gardens limited to the evenings and early mornings, all the usual stuff. Except this is in April not July. Not looking good.

No, not good at all. We've just had several weeks of rain, but as soon as the sun heats up the soil, the benefits will disappear.

No, not good. I fear for all of us as the entire country needs more rain. Last Summer in the Vaucluse was absolutely horrible.

This will be our first Summer in our new location. We can only hope for the best and remain very careful about our use of water.
