UK Passport renewal

We are about to send our old passports to UK. Is it worth doing them récommandé or does that not work internationally?

I posted mine Recommandé International on May 2 and it arrived on May 11.

I have had 3 responses:
1st used recommandé
2nd didn't bother
3rd can't remember
So that solves it then

Yes, but the 2nd didn't bother twice x2( in other words 4 packages normal post)

Touché ! You wouldn't think I got an A level in maths but it was a long time ago.

Fantastic! We posted our old passports on 19/6 received by them last Tuesday and the new ones have just been delivered dy DHL. 7 day turnaround. Passport office sent them for delivery last Friday and only took 4 days to get to us.
