Saw a couple of uk pig farmers (like factory farms) on tv this morning both complaining that they stand to loose a years stock as won't be able to market it due to CO2 shortage? Whats CO2 got to do with butchering meats, do what was always done sell it from counters.
These days with nearly all having freezers let the customers store the fresh produce.
Its still the way we always buy it.
I know all of this is a joke so won't complain of going off post.

In that case they would just lie down and die, no other method required.
They were talking about packagin. Me thinks.

It's also used during the processing process but I don't know for what purpose.

Every one to their own [mention]Char[/mention] mami used to be vegetarian but now eats some meat.
Being brought up on a farm ive killed animals but always by the humane method.
Man has always been a hunter/ gatherer, so they say.
